Hi there! I’m Charles, a wedding photographer based in the beautiful Spokane and Coeur d’Alene areas. For over 10 years, I’ve been capturing love stories and preserving the moments that matter most. From heartfelt vows to those stolen glances that say everything, I love being behind the lens, creating images that will be cherished for a lifetime.  

But my journey into photography is as unexpected as it is deeply personal. In 2008, I joined the U.S. Army, driven by a desire to explore new horizons and create better opportunities for my family. Then, in 2010, everything changed. During my tour in Afghanistan, my convoy was attacked, and my vehicle was struck. It was a life-altering moment that left me facing challenges I never anticipated.  

In the midst of recovery, I searched for a way to rebuild my life and rediscover joy. Photography became my saving grace—a way to tell stories, connect with others, and find beauty in the world again. In 2017, I launched my veteran-owned photography business, and I’ve poured my heart into it ever since.  

Weddings are my favorite to photograph because they’re filled with the kind of moments that make life truly meaningful: the tearful hugs from parents, the joyful laughter of best friends, and the overwhelming love shared between two people starting a new chapter together. My goal is to capture those moments authentically—just as they happen—so when you look back on your photos, you feel every emotion all over again.  

I like to think my experience as a veteran has given me a unique perspective on life and love. It’s taught me to cherish the little things, to embrace the beauty in fleeting moments, and to work with unshakable dedication. Every couple I work with inspires me, and being part of their wedding day is an honor I don’t take lightly.
